About the Artist

The story behind AuroraMOSS

Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, AuroraMOSS Designs creates preserved moss wall art, centerpieces, and one-of-a-kind natural sculptures using materials gathered from the forests and coastlines of the Pacific Northwest.

Every piece begins with a walk through the woods — gathering moss, bark, pinecones, driftwood, mushrooms, and other natural textures. These materials are carefully preserved to maintain their colour and softness, then composed into artwork that brings the quiet beauty of the forest floor into homes and spaces.

What started as a deep love for the textures of the natural world has become a creative practice rooted in patience, presence, and a desire to share the calming energy of the forest with others.

Guiding Principles

Handmade with care

Every piece is created by hand — no mass production, no shortcuts. Each arrangement is a one-of-a-kind composition.

Rooted in nature

Materials are responsibly gathered from the forests and shores of British Columbia, with deep respect for the natural environment.

Built to last

Preserved moss and natural elements require no watering, no sunlight, and no maintenance — lasting beauty for years to come.

Made in the Pacific Northwest

The misty forests, ocean-worn driftwood, and lush mossy landscapes of British Columbia are both workshop and inspiration. The Pacific Northwest's natural beauty — from ancient cedars to coastal stone — is woven into every piece.

Based in Vancouver, AuroraMOSS Designs ships across Canada and internationally through Etsy.
